Deep into creases,
behind sagging folds,
under once filled flaps,
over blue webs,
between bunion buttons,
and round gaseous mounds
go the sponges of
the wistful washers.






comically inspired by a mis-typed handy man ad which I saw a while back - it was offering widow washing sevices :)
